Helpful Dress Shopping Tips…

Who should I bring?

Bring a person/small group of people, that you trust. Having lots people with lots of opinions can be very overwhelming for the bride. Some brides feel the pressure to bring a big group to give everyone the experience, keep in mind this is about YOU. Once your bridal gown has arrived we call you to set up a Finishing Appointment. This is a great time to bring a big group with you to help you in picking out shoes, veil, hair accessories and jewelry.

Should I bring pictures from magazines/online?

If you have been looking for bridal gowns and have an idea of what you like, bring pictures! You want to maximize your time with your sales consultant, so anything you can bring to help you’re her find the perfect gown for you is a plus! Our consultations are an hour and a half, this seems like a long time but it goes by quickly. Don’t be afraid to try on styles that are outside of your box, sometimes you will find the perfect dress where you least expect to.

What should I wear?

We provide you with all of the necessary undergarments (bustier and petticoat) and shoes. Feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable in them.

If I find a gown, what is required to order it?

We are more than happy to set up custom payment plans for brides. Generally speaking, we require 50% of the cost of the gown (plus shipping and sales tax) to order the gown from the designer.

How long do bridal gowns take to come in once ordered?

Bridal gowns can take up to six months to arrive depending on custom changes and the various designers we work with. However, don’t let this scare you! Some companies keep gowns in stock and we can get them within weeks.
